Having trouble with my two remote handsets. They won't lock or unlock the LR3 anymore. Trouble happen suddenly! About tow hours ago everything OK and now nothing. The lights won't flash and I'm not able to lock or unlock the LR3 . It's a 2005 model SE.

Thank for some advices.

Will the car start with the key in the ignition? If so, let the engine run on idle for at least 6 minutes. This should restore synchronization of the rolling code between remote and CJB - if your remotes lost it for whatever reason. If the engine won't start, then you know... dead battery.

If that doesn't do it, it's most likely a problem with the RF receiver (not sure where it is on a Disco/LR3, in the RRS it's above the headliner between the B pillars), either the receiver itself is kaput or the wire that feeds it power from the battery is interrupted / disconnected somewhere. Bonne chance!
