Automatic headlamps

I did a search and did not find anything. But if this was coverd I apologize.

Has anyone ever noticed their headlamps not shutting off when they are in "automatic" mode? Mine stayed on yesterday while is was totally sunny out.

We're all adults. Lets just remember to turn on/off the lights. You remember to pull up your zippers on your pants don't you? (hopefully)

In all seriousness - I dont know of any vehicle (SUV or not) that has these 'auto' features - at least not European.

My girlfriend's 2005 Volvo S60 accomplishes everything people have asked for with head light options. ex: Fog lights come on independently, no matter what option the lights cut off with the car or on a time delay, etc... (except no option to turn off the DRLs) I wish that Volvo would have spend more time thinking about the rest of the inside!
