lOW BEAM WORKS BUT WHEN I PULL THE STICK BACK THERE IS NOTHING.IF I HOLD IT BACK HI BEAM COMES ON. CAN NOT HEAR A CLIK FROM RELAY. COULD IT BE THE RELAY? IF SO WITCH ONE IS IT? I HAVE A 1995 DISCOVERY

Sounds more like the headlight switch is going bad... this is normal... you may want to look, but you may start having issue of no tail lights soon as well.

There is no relay for the headlights that I am aware of... I have been wrong before, but could not locate one in the electrical manual.

you do have 4 fuses for the headlights though, under the dash in the main fuse block.

4 and 5 for main headlights Left and Right as listed.
10 and 11 for dipped headlights Left and Right as listed.

blue relay what does it do? can any one tell me.

can not find it in any of my books or cd. there is 2 green and 4 yellow one black and one blue relay on bracket on L/h side. had car 2 weeks triying to go a roadworthy but head light not working as they should. there is no blue relay in it's holder but i have power there when i put on hi beam...... thank you all...............

Just guessing here since I am not sure where exactly the bracket on the L/H Side is, but if you don't have fog lights, it may be the relay for them. High beams on, fog lights off.

the bracket is up under the gloveboxs. No fog lights. but a very good thort of your's....
thanks mate norm..



ps,............... 3 yellow relays not 4..........

you where right

it was the switch..you wher spot on with the lot..the switch cost me $60.oz.... only ever had holden's and ford's thats why it bid make scents to me......thanks a lot mate Norm
