headlight bug or feature?

I think the deal was I pulled into a driveway with the fog lights ON and shut the car off. THEN I turned OFF the lights (with the car already off)...the headlights come on bright when I shut them off. I'm not sure if these are the "follow me home" lights, but it seems like odd behavior. I can clear the condition by turning the lights on & off again, which shuts them off.

Anyone notice something similar?

It is repeatable.

Yes, I have noticed recently that when I start my car in my garage the headlights come on bright and I have to shut them off manually.

Isn't the default in the UK to have the hibeams on, and you actually "dip" the beams for oncoming traffic? Maybe that's why.

You know, on a Rover it's not a bug, it's a "feature."

I described this behavior to my service rep and he told me it is the "follow me home lights" feature. I think this is something you can turn off (see manual)

That is the best saying I've heard in a LONG time!

Well put Moose

There are more, like
