While searching for information to resolve a "minor" issue with my RR I found you all here. I made my way to the 98 RR 4.6HSE by way of 69 Landcruiser to Jeep Wrangler, to Jeep Cherokee and now to RR. I also have my 64 F100 PU.

If anyone can help me troubleshoot the problem of no windshield wiper fluid or blade motion only after filling the reservoir I would appreciate that!

No wiper fluid spraying or blade motion only after filling? That is an odd one. Without looking at the manual (not on my laptop) I would guess and say the level float is shorting things out...

at what point does it start working again? Or did it stop after a recent fill up and hasn't worked since? (if this is the case, check fuses.)

Hi Joey....yes only after filling the fill up did it stop. I did check fuse (#25 I think) and found it solid. I considered a sensor problem or something referred to as "**** Fuse" in the owners handbook. I have no idea where to start. There is no pump or wiper motor noise any longer at all. You mention the level float.....I assume this could be in the fluid tank?

yes, in the fluid tank... it could also be the wiper/sprayer switch just went bad around the same time...

If it were me I would take the switch out, clean the connectors and the switch with some contact cleaner... I would also check voltage to the washer sprayer pump... but beating on either a fuse or the switch, since they are both controlled by the same switch.

I would check my manual, but don't have it with me.
