HELP! LR3 Hazards, locks, AC, Nav & All other displays flashing

Just completed a drive in our 05' LR3 from SoCal to Napa. Went to gas up along the way. Stopped the car, took out the key and everything goes nuts.

Hazards flash, AC turns on off on off, locks unlock repeatedly, and Nav screen flashes off and on. It's as if you kept hitting the unlock button on your key fob or turning the car completely on and off every second....but, here's the tricky bit...if you step on the break pedal it all stops? Also, as long as the car is on idling/driving all is well.

This happened a few months ago and we just left it flashing. Grabbed a few drinks and came back to a happy non-flashing land rover. This time however....it's still flashing

From what I've read on different threads, the battery is usually the cause when the display flips out like that.

Agree on the battery being the issue. I've never experienced this myself but from several previous posts, it sounds like the battery. I would start by replacing it first. If you have the issue again, then consider visiting a shop for diagnosis.
