Hi! 2001 Disco 2

Hey guys-
I have a 2001 Disco 2 with 138K on it. I bought it last year at an auction and love it!
I had the engine light come on and some hesitation in the acceleration.

I got the following codes.. how bad is this?

PO171B Bank 1 too lean
PO174B Bank 2 too lean

PO300B Random Multiple misfires
PO301B Cylinder 1 misfire
PO303 Cylinder 3 misfire
PO304B Cylinder 4 misfire
PO305B Cylinder 5 misfire
PO306 Cylinder 6 misfire
PO307 Cylinder 7 misfire
P1300 Manual control ignition misfire

Welcome to the forum... What have you done as far as tune ups go since you bought it?

If nothing, I would start with new plugs/wires and clean the MAF sensor as well as then intake plenum at least clean up the butterfly a bit.

Do you have have any resources so I know which plugs to buy and to do the cleaning.. is that a self project or is that mechanic?

Plugs can be done by anyone with a wrench... Platinum Champions plugs... wires buy good ones and be prepared to lose some skin putting them on the Coil packs.... unless you have small hands or you remove the intake.

Cleaning a rag works after removing the intake tube, clean it all and the end of the intake plenum with a a rag and some intake cleaner.

You can do it yourself for about 3 hours work of fun or spend around $500 to have a mechanic do it. Personally I would at least do what you can so you learn your vehicle...
