Hood open message

Ok, I was prepared for the gremlins. Drove to work and the hood open light came on. Checked to make sure hood was securely closed. Still on

Dropping by dealer this afternoon - at least I made it through my first day of ownership (well, less than 24 hours) with out a service issue.

Anyone else get this?

The hood has two latches but only one sensor.. on the right side.
If I don't slam mine good, the right side will latch and not the left...
The warning light doesn't light but the left side of the hood gets a little jiggly on the motorway!

turned out the sensor (only one) on the left as you face the front of the car was not seated all the way into it's socket. A little push and it clicked into place. Yay!
