I'm trying to change out the passenger side mirror on a 2009 LR3. You have to pull the speaker cover on the front side of the window to get to the mirror screws. So the easy part should be popping the speaker cover off, right? It is easy to get the top bracket out but there seems to be three connections on the bottom that don't pop out?
Am I missing something easy or do you really have to take off the door panel to get past the speaker cover?

Any insight would be appreciated!

A major big deal

Well you might get at the 3 Torx screws however you will not get at the two electrical disconnects except by removing the door card - and that is a big deal.

Yes, that is what I was asking. Having to take off the door panel will make this a much more complicated project than anticipated! Thanks for the info.
