So I think I’ve tracked down the source of my whining noise. It sounds like it is coming from the smaller drive belt or the wheel that it attaches to that holds the fan on. Here is where I am stuck ... there is no tentioner on that belt so how the heck do I get the new one on? I read somewhere that it’s easiest to cut the old one off and the new one is a “stretch to fit”, but wouldn’t you need to be Hercules to do that? Also, it sounds like it could be a bearing in the wheel that holds the fan on. Is that some sort of tentioner that can be replaced? If so what part would that be?
