I have to agree with Joey.A couple gal. of antifreeze and a new thermostat is the cheapest fix based on what you have said.If that fixes it I'm glad I could help.

thermastat worked. thanks for the help. i think the switch is bad too since it blows more air on setting 2 then it does on 4 but atleast its warm now.

Glad I could be of help to you.Can't be much help with the switch and Joey is right they are a pita.At least you can be warmer with the new thermostat.
