Is it plugs and wires? 2000 Disco

My 2000 Disco sputters when pulling a hill. Check engine light flashes at times. Does it need news plugs and wires?

I realize you are new here, but have you even thought about getting the codes read, what is the mileage on the truck, when was it last tuned along with plugs.
For what you have given us, we can't even begin to help you.

Got codes for 2000 Disco with 168k miles

Also, I am hearing a "sloshing sound" behind dashboard. Is that a heater core issue?

Water sloshing is from a coolant leak, possibly the head gaskets. The 1590 is for your 3 Amigos, the rest are misfire codes requiring a serious tune, induction cleaning and a can of B&G's 44K in the tank.
At your mileage, that truck is probably needing some service major service also along with an oil pump, timing chain and a look at the valves for a possible valve job.

Same thing happened to mine and my mechanic told me to replace and get a new head gasket set. Now, everything is back to normal.
