ok I just refueled and I think it is that new fuel with alcohol in it. I don't know if it has any barring on my problem, after fueling the vehicle ran fine then it would sputter at idle and a strong smell of fuel, when I hit the gas it runs fine and it only happens at idle and sporadic. I plugged it in and a knock sensor code popped up but the engine light didn't come on. Is it the sensor? the fuel? timing chain? this is a first for me so any help would be appreciated. thanks Joe
