i have a 2005 HSE and i saw oil at the front left hand side underneath the oil filter . what is the solution ,any suggestion ,i had to go the dealer they charge too much for simple repairs

A Rover is like a Harley Davidson, it likes to mark its territory. If it stops leaking you are out of fluids.

If you changed the oil, did you clean up after you were done? Did you tighten the oil filter 1/4 turn after it got snug? If you didn't change the oil, please tell me you didn't go to a jiffy lube and have it done... scary what kids will do to a nice vehicle if they get paid so little and have not been properly trained.

Wipe it down, make sure the filter is snug and check it again later.
