Thinking of using K&N next time around (99 Disco 2 with 4.0)
I thought I saw a post by disco mike (where is he anyway) where he said he used a 3001 K&N.
The filter specified on the K&N website says it should be the HP-2004.
I tried a search on that same site for HP-3001 and it came up, but the vehicle applications chart does not list my model. In fact, the only LRs listed are 3.5 and 3.9 all from late 80s to early 90s.
The filter looks similar to the 2004, but 4mm larger diameter and 34mm longer (which I think must be the advantage).
Could it be that the first two letters (HP) could be different, or is this filter OK to use.
