My turbo on my 2006 Range Rover td6 Vogue recently blew up and was rushed to garage to be fixed. During its time in the garage, the car was left running to burn off oil that had been sucked into the exhaust system after the turbo was replaced. During this process the car was run out of diesel. Since getting the car back, it has been severely lacking power and doesnt appear to be kicking down appropriatley and even seems to hit a rev limit at around the 3500 rpm range. The garage said the car goes into a 'Safe Mode' after it runs out of Diesel, however after completely filling the tank and running for about 100 miles or so, the problem with low and sluggish power remains?? Anyone any thoughts or similiar experience with this Problem??

Check the fuel filter to see if it is clogged, have the ECU reset.... Should be no more than remove the battery overnight and let it idle for 10 minutes after reconnect. But may require it to be reset by the mechanic.
