LR3 driving lights

i have noticed that my LR3's driving lights indicator (just below the fog lights indicator) turns on when the switch is pulled out to the second position.however my lr3 does not have driving lights… to my knowledge. doe this mean that the truck is already wired for these lights and when purchased they will be "plug and play? or am i really missing something and therefore should not sign up for are you smarter then a fifth grader!!!

Are you sure it isn't the Rear Fog Indicator?

If not it is likely shorted wiring somewhere..The Switch for the driving lights would have to be on first (I am guessing you don't have that either)

Switch pulled out halfway: front fogs only.
Switch pulled out all the way: both front and rear fogs on.

Every LR3 has rear fog lights, so if you pull the dial the rear ones go on even though the truck is not equipped with front fog lamps.
