On the RRS you just grab it and pull the sucker up real hard, until it disengages (you gotta watch it not to smack yourself in the face with it, as it releases suddenly and with no warning...), I imagine you follow the same procedure for the shift knob of a LR3?
I'm hoping that since there is a thread going on the LR3 gear box knob that someone might be able to tell me how to tighten it. Mine became very loose today and can do a complete 360. Not very safe if I want to use the manual +/- feature or even shifting it into reverse. I can take the center plastic piece off, but don't know what to do after that.
