Do they come with instructions or anything, as I said before I am horrible with anything mechanical and it is pretty possible for me doing it myself to screw something up. Also where are the rods located when looking under the vehicle I haven't been able to find them.

Thanks

They are in plain sight if you take your wheels off - are you at least that inclined? I guess some have done it without taking the wheels off, but for your first time it will be a lot easier to see what you are doing. I tugged at mine a little when I was changing my brakes and they didn't budge. I would imagine spraying a little WD40 or similar product would help loosen them up (correct me if I'm wrong Houm or DRZ) and that they will come off with a little careful tugging. The only thing I could picture myself doing is pulling too hard and braking that plastic arm that they are attached to...so don't do that.

I use a lil wd and a small screwdriver to get in there and help get it out. When I send you the arms thea are attached to sensors (see pic of rods in my profile) so you get a good feel an how to pop them off.

This is prolly the thing you have to be most careful of...breaking the arm. The second thing would be ripping the rubber end(s) when you get in there with the screwdriver. Don't PRY with the screw driver just use it to expand the gap and then use your fingers to pull it off. So like a shoe-horn but to take the thing off not on.

The other thing I've done is buy a few extra stock arms. They are seriously like $1.25 a piece and I have 4 spares in case I rip the stock or the mod'd one and need to make a new one. The rears are way more expensive so I'm extra careful with those.

If you don't have the mechanical inclination to jack up the rig, remove the wheel and spot the arm...then maybe this isn't the right direction for ya. Consider it a litmus test!
