LR3 shift selector problem

I had the exact same issue. The light on the gear selector was the actual terrain response console piece. Replaced that whole center console fixed that issue. Sport/Manual mode was actually pin 1 on the wiring loom that plugs into the transmission. Go under your vehicle and wiggle the wiring loom that goes into the transmission on the passenger side right above the gear selector linkage. Guaranteed that is your issue. Post back your results.

Pin 1 is the very top wire in the bundle. That is the wire that controls sport/manual mode.

I'll try that! Didn't know the job needed so much lubricant. Still cheaper than ZF trans fluid.
