Just bought the new style Ferodo pads for my 13, I’ll see what comes out of it next week. I haven’t done brakes on this truck yet but I suspect the BMW dealer pad slapped it before I bought it. I’m just about metal on metal now.

When I had pad separation of the rear pads, I bought new pads from the dealer for my 2012 and they gave me pads that look more like the ones you posted for 2013+. They fit fine (and I think had a chamfer on both ends). Not sure which part number I got, will see if I can find out.
Looked it up, LR134696 is what the dealer gave me for my 2012, for whatever that's worth.

So that's the 2013 and newer part. The pads I have on the rear now are Akebono. All they have is the plastic backing (no adhesive) and they've been quiet for the full time they've been in. My guess is the plastic backing is enough. Combine that with the beveled edge on the 2013+ pads and they should be quiet.

Here’s some photos of my 2013 calipers. Not sure if there are any notable differences between these and the older ones, but I did realize that my brake pad clips don’t appear to fit correctly.

Don’t mind the rotors. New ones are on the way. I’m sure these are way out of spec at this point.

Without looking at mine right now, those 2013 brakes appear to be the same.

I just looked online, though. The 2012s and 2013s have the same caliper part numbers, but different carrier part numbers.

2012 is LR015521 (R) and LR015522 (L).

2013 is LR032058 (R) and LR032059 (L).

The plot thickens.

Welp, the more expensive ones (FDB4432) came from FCPeuro, turns out those are the smaller ones. Guess they’re going back.

I'm running FDB1613 on the rears right now. I don't even think that is the correct part...

FCPEuro also has FDB4105 and Ferodo's website says that fits our Discos. (2013 at least)

Part numbers change a lot. I’ll be near a dealer tomorrow and see what they have in stock, and see what comes off the truck.

I looked on Ferodos website and according to the parts catalog, I put rear LR3 brake pads on my LR4.

At least I have the proper front brake pads on.

I bought them from Amazon which I won’t be buying car parts from anymore, for the most part. Amazon says the front brake pads are rear brake pads, and says the rear LR3 pads fit the LR4. I’ve heard a lot of counterfeit parts cycle through on Amazon too, so no more.

I generally only buy car parts off Amazon if the seller is disclosed and someone I trust. For example, I've seen some parts being sold on there by Atlantic British and Miami British and maybe some of the other better-known Land Rover parts suppliers. Ordering through Amazon got me free shipping.
