LR4 "Gearbox not in Park" - Dial shifter stuck in Drive

If the solenoid works, are you sure it’s not your brake switch that’s gone bad. Not sure what your symptoms are, but if the brake switch is bad, it will prevent the shifter from turning.

Do you have a good test for this? My understanding was it was tied to the brake lights and if the brake switch was bad, your brake lights wouldn't work either.
