They offered 52k for our Fuji white, black premium leather, LR4 HSE LUX with running boards and roof rails, with less than 300 miles. We are well aware that the price is more for a RR but it is the end price that makes no sense and it ends up that we are out 11K on an LR4 that we purchased not leased! because they only want to buy back the car for 52K ?
we paid 63K less than a month ago with less than 300 miles it was filled up with gas once. They said the RR out the door price would be 81k.

Also how much sense does it make if we want to wipe the slate clean and we do decided to get another LR4 which they said we could do if we wanted to, but then we are out thousands.

We are still very disappointed. Again by the end of today if there is not resolution then we will go to corporate. We are hoping that it will get resolved. Can't help but be very disheartened. Waited very long for a new car and loved it until this point!

It still doesn't make sense. Why would you take a loss of 11k in 1 month only to spend another 81k on a new RR.
You need to be either get a replacement or just return the car back with full refund.

I recommend you get in touch with corporate asap AND get in touch with your state's attorney general's office AND consumer protection. With each day that passes by, your chance of resolution gets lower. Lemon laws are only effective in the first few months and few thousand miles.

You MUST make sure LRNA has record of this issue/transaction. Since the truck is so new, they should give you a new LR4, same options etc. If that doesn't work, ask them for a full refund and walk. Go buy your RR somewhere else.

It is either an absolutely horrible dealer(offering trade-in value instead of a buy-back, which is standard in those types of situations, as described by the poster)....

Or: there's more to the story than the poster shared with us...

I completely agree, on both senarios! Story is odd.

Problem is still not resolved and I am getting very discouraged. Should I call corporate?

you have had only this one problem, and how many repair attempts ?? and how many days in the shop ??

what have they done or said exactly is the problem ??

most lemon law require 4 repair attempts, or over 30 days out of service.....land rover corporate can do a buy back, the dealer cannot, they are just offering you a trade in to another vehicle.....a buyback through corporate you would be out:
your actual mileage divided by 120,000 X vehicle purchase price

if you don't fully depress the brake it will not start......always fully depress the brake before hitting the start button....

corporate will take care of you, but they are not fast so you must be patient......you need to call corporate yesterday......
