So I have had the service engine light lit for a while now, with codes 1884 and 0103.. I finally replaced the MAF sensor. I am overdue on getting my car smogged and hoping that the light will clear soon.. My questions are

1. When can i expect the light to clear?
2. Should i reset the codes?
3. Regarding readiness status in the obdII does anyone know the driving procedure to get all of the ready status in place.

Lights will only clear if the issue has gone away after so many cycle (don't ask long story)

I would reset and see if they come back.

when car is cold, turn key on, not started, wait 2 minutes, start it and let it warm up at idle, then do the following...2 light accels to 35, 2 med accels to 45, 2 hard accels to 55, letting the car engine brake down after each accel... then drive the car at 55 for 10 minutes and then at 45 for 8 minutes... cycle the key when all done, and check your readiness, you should be good.

A 103 code will not clear by itself, you will need to have some one with a scanner clear this code.
