So I have a yakima sky box that mounts on the standard cross bars but now I have a Rhyno Rack pioneer platform mounted to the cross bars.
I know there are some kits to add a small section of cross bar onto the platform but that seems like I'm just stacking.
Wondering if anyone has tackled this?
I don't use the box much so I am thinking of removing the stock bar clamps from the box and use some kind of threaded quick release bolt. Like a larger version of an old seat post clamp on a bicycle.
