My 94 Disco PROBLEM FIXED!
How can a simple little Fuse can cause such a BIG problem.

My 94 Disco turns but not even starting.
I been having problems lately with codes. From 44 & 45 I replaced the O2 Sensors. Then I replaced a Relay in my 94. She gave her last code of 03. Now, nothing is happening. He Cranks but nothing happening.
Help!
First off, hello, and welcome to the forum.
OBD2 = {on board diagnostics 2} a diagnostic standard voted on by US
congress to standardize the diagnostic capabilities so non dealer
shops and vehicle owners can work on their own cars, and not
have to rely on dealers diagnostics.
P0044 OBD2 states that the oxygen sensor heating element HO2S Heater Control
Circuit is too High (Bank 1, Sensor 3), This would be the third sensor
furthest away from the engine on the drivers side, but you only have 2
per side per your model and year.
P0045 OBD2 states that this is a Turbo/Super Charger Boost Control Solenoid
Circuit / Open…….. I’m not even sure your engine has a super charger
installed on it? …………….. Does it ?
P0003 OBD2 states that the issue is Fuel Volume Regulator Control Circuit Low
The dealer manual that I have for this year and model doesn’t even
have a listing for this item.
This is where the OBD2 diagnostics are not compatible with Land rover software. You’ll need to go to a dealer or a shop with the proper Land Rover diagnostic equipment to accurately read these codes, OBD2 diagnostic equipment will not help you here. Most OBD2 codes I’m able to cross reference, but in this case there are far too many variables here to even try and guess, and that’s all I can do right now with this info.
Get the proper codes and repost them here and we can get you going in the right directions……..

Okay, Let me give out better description here of whats happening. When I wrote that post I was a little upset. Just got back from the Junk Yard where they had a 1996 Land Rover Discovery. Pretty much took out all of its relays and such for my 94 Disco.
Anyways. About a few weeks ago. I been getting Both Codes on my 94 Disco. Which BTW, she has the 3.9L. The Codes she had where 44 and 45. Which ment something was wrong with the Heated O2 Sensors. I replaced the O2 Sensors but still had a draw. It came down to the Main Relay that was giving the problems. So I pretty much tried to replace it with a New Relay from Autozone. Once I replaced that relay. Nothing happen. Hell, all she did was crank over. I was like okay so I switch out the TRW Emission Relay near my Computer Dianosic. Now, I am pretty much getting nothing. No Engine Check light when I turn the key or even any codes from the from Dianosic Box. Nothing. Absolutly nothing. There is power to the ECM and the Main Relay for the Fuel Pump. But no power is coming out of the Fuel Pump/Main Relay. I mean she deader then dead with the cranking part.
I am thinking its down to my ECM or my Land Rover Dianosic computer took a ********* death. HELP! I am student and I need my car. I love my Rover and I hate seeing her like this. SOMEONE SAVE ME!!!

If you turn on the ignition key and no check engine lights up on the gauge panel, you have either a power or ground problem with the ecu or the processor itself is toast. Is this you driving through a creek before the problem occurred ?

Just kidding………
Honestly it could be many things including lack of maintenance that lead up to this. But the cure now is having it towed to a Land rover dealer or a certified Land rover shop, special electrical equipment is now necessary. Even if you only need a processor, it’s not as easy as just taking out the old one and installing the new one, it has to be ID and coded to your vehicle, and there really isn’t any other way to do it. Bring a few paychecks when you go…….

LOL! Saw the picture man, that looks fun. Found the problem guys. Well, my Repair Guy found the problem. HOW can a simple little Fuel Injector Fuse could cause such a BIG problem. Thanks for the every guys!!!
