MY2013 - Rear Lettering Question

Hello Everyone,

I am curious about the rear lettering on the 2013 LR4.

Looking at photos of the early 2013 models (like umbertob's LR4 and other photos on the web), it only has "LR4" in the back and no other lettering. For the 2010-2012 model years it had "LR4" and "HSE" if it was an HSE or HSE Lux.

Now when I look at photos of recent 2013 stock, I notice that they put the "HSE" lettering back on. Though, looking a bit closely, it seems as though maybe the "HSE" is NOT on the vehicles that have the black design pack?

I am just curious if that's the case.

That is the case, black packs only come with the LR4 black badge, no other trim letters are applied on the rear gate.

Yes. My 2013 Fuji HSE Lux w/ black package only has LR4 on the gate.

I have 13 LR4 HSE Lux, non-black pack. I have "LR4" and "HSE"

I might actually put "Discovery" or "V8" on my LR4 where the "HSE" would have gone!
