Okay guys, I need some opinions or shared experience here, please.

Lately my steering has felt funny. It is "light" first of all, and it has been since they changed my steering rack about 18 months ago. That isn't the real issue, it's just something to note.

Once in a while, at really low speeds (driveway speeds) when making a turn in particular, it feels like there is a "lump" in my steering. That's the best way to describe it. I will be making a turn and the steering will feel smooth and then for a few degrees of rotation it will feel like the tire is rotating under more strain, then release and feel normal for the rest of the rotation. It is usually while I'm coming off the brake (either a turn where I've slowed or am leaving a stop sign). I just had my rubber brake hoses (and fluid) replaced; so that's noteworthy. As I type this and the more I think about it, it always happens when I'm coming off or have just come off the brake.

I checked my tire pressure; that's fine. My alignment is fresh; I got new A-arms up front about 8 months ago. Running on 32" MT/Rs right now but I don't think it's related to that.

2005 HSE, 103,000 miles.

Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Also noteworthy: This doesn't happen consistently; like it may happen every time I drive the LR3 around, but not every time I turn the steering wheel per se.

Pinched brake hose on one side that slows the release of a caliper?? Sticking caliper?? Just a wild guess.
