My Disco 3 came to a halt today and I had to get it recovered. Landrover uk said that it had no oil in it although it had a full service 1100 miles ago. They implied if it turns out I need a new engine the waranty will be void as I should have checked the oil every 600 miles???? Why is there no low oil warning light?
How could the oil have run out so quickl? (there is no leak) I spoke to 2 LR garages and they said that a car should not run out of oil after a service 1100 miles previous!!
Where do I stand? Please help - a new engine costs £4 apparantly!!
