I have an 04 Freelander with no owners manual. I have a burnt out headlight-lo beam and cant figure out how to change it. HELP!!!

I am a girl who knows next to nothing about cars...so the more detailed of a description the better. Or if you could direct to a website to help that would be fine too.

Thanks!!!!

look in the wheel welll, there is a little panel and by removing the panel you can access the lite.

the bulb themselves have a cover accessible behind them.

These cars use physical 'bulbs'.
Pop the engine hood and look at the rear of the front lamp assembly.
Trace the wires that go into the assembly.
At the end of these wires you will have a plastic assembly.
This plastic assembly is the headlamp socket.
You will need to turn this assembly, or maybe loosen a threaded collar before doing so.
1/2 or 3/4 turn CW or CCW is needed to remove the headlamp socket.
Remove the burned out bulb and note down the #.
Go to your local car parts store and buy a replacement, take the buld in case of doubt.
Replace the bulb, but never touch with your bare hands, always handle with
a soft rag. A pair of soft gloves or plastic gloves will work.
Once the bulb is replaced, put the lamp socket assembly back into the headlamp module.
Give it a turn to lock into place.
Start the car and turn on the light's.
Cycle through HI and LO.
If OK you're done.
Close the engine hood.
Keep the burned bulb for future reference, usually inside the glove compartment.
