Hi all... I don't own a Land Rover yet but I have been eye balling on purchasing my ever first in a few days. I'm looking to buy a '00 Disco II with ACE and I've been lurking around here for the past 2 weeks now to get as much info about them. I'm a performance oriented guy and have been tinkering and road racing a few sport compact cars and the purpose of me jumping into a Disco II is to haul my race car to track day events and some Lake Tahoe trips which I'm sure the Disco is capable of running through packs of snow in icy conditions.

Hope to find more technical data on this forum!

Welcome to the board...

Tow vehicle... remember no more then 5500lbs and the trailer has to have brakes... but if you max it to 4500 or more, you are not going to get anywhere fast. Also Short wheel base (i.e. 100 inches) will mean safe towing should not be a long trailer.
