I am new to owning a Land Rover Discovery after many many years of dreaming, I have a 2000 Disco II with 81k on engine. Loved it when I bought it, Hate it since it broke, can't decide why some ***** would design such a crummy engine layout. I am having the Dreaded Cylinder Misfire Errors on Cyl 2. Changed Plugs, ran Seafoam, still getting error, next thing is the Plug wires but what a PITA. Anyhow, glad to be hear and yes after all my complaining, I am still happy to have a Disco.

Welcome to the forum... guess you could blame Buick for the engine, since they designed it and built it in the 1960's, then rover bought it and re engineered it.
