Hi all. Just got my 2006 LR3 HSE last Friday with 74,000 miles on it. Looking to get it updated with all maintenance and provide my wife with an awesome Urban Assault Vehicle. At 5800 lbs, I think this will fit the bill. Plus, my wife has to have heated seats, so we are all happy. Hotrod is only 1 y.o., so he doesn't appreciated the safety or the V8... yet.

I'm coming from C5 Corvettes to the Land Rover camp. Looking forward to learning a lot and perhaps sharing some good stuff along the way.

Cheers!

Good to have you here.I am in Denver as well. Funny, traded in my C6 on my rover a few years back, had a whole 1700 miles on it. Ugh, what a waste of money, the rover is sooo much more fun and practical. You ever want to hit some trails with it, let me know. I am real familiar with many trails around the Denver area, and can take you on some mild ones to get started with the LR3 and get comfortable. Hope to get a few going this summer.

Interesting..... When my age starting catching up to me, I started looking like one of 'those' guys driving the Vette for reasons other than sport... and the guardrails were getting closer and closer as my actions were taking me to 9/10's of total traction :)

Got this rig more for family safety than sport (wife drives the family around in it) but that doesn't mean that the LR3 won't be seeing any off road time; just not any of the challenging stuff until the 'newness' wears off.

Got any pics you can share? I'm interested in your wheel/tire combo. These stock 19's don't look like they're trail ready and they are really expensive to replace. I haven't searched on here for tire/wheel combo selections, but I don't have an extra $1700 to drop on a combo (yet) either
