00 Disco SII,

I'm getting a noise from steering wheel when I turn it fast. Kind of sounds as if something is/has not been lube properly.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks

First, have you checked the fluid level? Also do you have ACE on your DII? If so, it may be the ACE system making noise, not the steering.

Level is good and No ACE installed.
I'm thinking its the connections in the engine bay, their showing signs of rust/corrosion. I tried sprayinig white lithium grease on them, but the sound came back. I'm trying to catch this before it gets real pricey.
Thanks Joey

Try some lucas transmission fix... I know transmission, but since the PS on a Rover takes transmission fluid.
