OEM 20 inches tires

Well again , i can't say that i am impressed with the OEM tires that are fitted with my 2011 LR4 on 20" wheels ...Those Pirelli Scorpion Zero do wear fast...After 8000 miles on them , I've started hearing the wear on them while driving around already...I am kind of disappointed also when looking at the thread indicator, since i do believe that another 8k miles on them and they will need replacement....I am looking at fitting winter tires and obviously 20" doesn't get you much choice...Of course Pirelli's are available but having had those on my previous LR3, I wasn't impressed either how they performed on snow and ice...so i am now looking at getting Toyo's Observe Gsi5 but with a width of 245 instead of 255, since Toyo do not fabricate that tire size... I do expect to get better performance with a narrower tire...Any thoughts???
