Yep, have one with me all the time. :) .. for both, car and bike...

Well, it is possible, there are some type of damage that require the patch, a cut lets say - you can not plug it. But in that case I would replace the tire.

P.S. on a bike though, i would not ride it like that for long, I would replace it as soon as i can. We only have 2 wheels there. ;)

I liked the idea of repairing the bike tire and being able to continue the ride until i get back home. I ride on spike rims with tubeless tires:

I'll get a separate kit for the Discovery. Plugging the punctured tire is definitely easier and faster than changing the spare. I always carry a 12V electric inflator in the back anyway.
