I was wondering if anybody had the oil capacity for an LR3 for a complete oil change with a filter. I tried doing a search but couldn’t find any information. I read about a skid plate that will have to be removed to properly get to the oil filter. I’m not sure if the drain plug has to be replaced every time or not.

The requirements are in the back of your manual. It is a pain to remove/replace the skid plates on the floor of your garage by yourself. Make sure that you have a really big oil catch, there is a lot of pressure when you first remove the plug. No, you do not need to replace the plug.

Hmmm..."Replaced" as in old plug put back in or "replaced" as in new plug? If the former, try pine or juniper resin to plug the drainhole. Ciao.
