Ok, something else is wrong!

Man, talk about having issues. Here is another! Why would my idel all of a suuden go from normal to around 1500?? It just started!! it has new plugs, wires etc..please help!!

There are a few things you can try...

First, disconnect the battery and leave it overnight. This may reset the computer if that's where the problem lies.

Otherwise, remove and give the stepper motor a good cleaning with some cleaning solution to remove built up carbon..

Did you get any water under the hood recently? I had this happen after a washed my engine with one of those powerwashers...It ended up being the idle control valve I believe.

I could also be fuel filter if a D1, or fuel pump...

MAF could be going.
