...sounds like results may vary. Both at shops and with vehicles. My Dealership provides great, honest service. Too bad they all don't. My LR3 has been aligned a few times. Once when I ditched the Goodyears, once when I got my bushings done and once recently just because it had been a while and I wheel it pretty hard.
