Any reason you changing the coils?

What are you trying to do?

If Tune up, then air filter, oil, oil filter, gear oil in transfer case and both diff's.

Hey Joey,
Never changed them with 85,000 on the clock, also it started shudder / shimmy while sitting idle. Most importantly some codes. 9 in total. P1590, P0174, P0171, P1300,
P0734, P0301, P0303 (last came in twice).

Try cleaning your MAF, IAC, and TPS before buying new coils. They are hard enough just to change the wires on a D2... coils are even more fun.

if you are changing wires and coils you better get a upper/lower intake gasket, pt# ERR6621 because you have to take off the upper intake to get to the coils (at least I did). And as long as you have it off you might as well replace throttle body heater plate #MGM000010KG (they are infamous for leaking and developing blockages).

Agree in that you should definitely start with the wires and plugs, and then clean the MAF sensor with electrical cleaner spray.
