power window

need advice

my drive side power window does not roll down. here is what i done.
1. remove panel and reconnect the window harness
2.when i press down, i hear the motor click.
3.remove the window motor and here is the interesting part. the motor only move in one direction. when i press up (if you looking down on the motor) it turning clockwise. if i press it down, it still turning clockwise.

Can i assume the window switch is bad?

It sounds like the switch, i've heard others report switch issues. Perhaps you can test it with a multimeter if you remove it.

Try swapping the harness over to another switch on the door panel, like the passenger window switch and see if the symptoms are the same.
