Programming Sunroof

I have a 98 4.0 that I am restoring. I had to remove the sunroof and since reinstalling, it will only lift. When I try to slide it back, a message displays "Sunroof Not Set". I would greatly appreciate any advise on how to correct this.

Two modes to your sunroof

1. completely open
2. venting


Completely open your sunroof all the way when it reaches the end, close your sunroof. When the motor stops open the moonroof to the second postion and close. Reapeat these steps until the sunroof is set
