Howdy,

I kinda skipped this step when I joined. So here it is. I came from a Chevy Colorado ZR2 Diesel to the LR4. It was time for the misses to get a new car, so traded in the ZR2 for her car. I did go on outings with the ZR2 and still wanted to be able to do so, hence the LR4.

I was initially looking at Gx's in the same year range and I must say, not impressed. I friend of mine had a LR3 and now a LR4. On his advice I started looking at the LR's. I found one in CO and flew up and drove it down to Tucson. It was a great ride down, super comfortable. Nothing like getting to know the truck like a 12 hour drive couple of hours after buying it.

So far it has been good, I guess expected in a sense. I have a thread discussing a coolant leak I had, but that is all taken care off. Thanks to those who had good suggestions and info! Hope to learn a bunch here.

I am going to kit it out for overlanding and light off roading. Some of the first things I am looking at doing is:
Front bumper
Winch
Light bar
Arb Compressor
Ideally 18" wheels, I picked up a set of 19's
Skid plates
Xlifter - Anyone have one for sale? (I don't have enough posts to post in the classified sections)
So more bits and pieces.
