is there an easy way to recharge the rear air on a 96 d1.i havent tore into it yet but it stilll blows cool, and the main air appears to be a lost cause.the comp. dosent lock up and the metal lines appear to have been abused.so the rear seems to be ok.i thought there might be an access panel im missing.
thanks for all your help im new to these and havent gotten a repair manual yet

They are both charged from the same system. R134a recharge is near the firewall IIRC, start the Disco with turn on the air and plug in the charging tank.. if the compressor is not kicking on, then you will have to jump start the system (that is something I forget how to do). But under the hood you should see how much pressure should be there with front A/C on and with Rear A/C on.
Charge quantity ................................................................ 0.9Kg
Charge quantity with rear air conditioning ........................ 1.15Kg
