Ok, I just noticed that my brake lights are not working on my 2000 Disco 2...I had a problem a few weeks ago where I was unable to get park, I was able to open the middle console and press the button that releases the shifter out of park. Other than that the brakes work fine as does everything else...I checked the fuses, nothing wrong, the running night lights for the front and back work...but the brakes nothing...so I heard it could be the brake "switch" or something else...what are the options and what is the cheapest easiest way for me to fix this...I am trying to sell my rover asap...please help

You can ohm the switch out.... do you have a multimeter?

It will either be the switch or a bad wire, I can't remember a fuse that controls just the rear brakes... but hey I can't remember everything.
