Rear door will not open

So today I went to load my dog into the back of my freelander and the rear door will not open. The rear window will not go down either. I checked the fuse and it is not blown so we are good there. Any other ideas?

I had the same problem of the door not opening a while back. the dealer said that the solenoid that works on the back glass and hinge go bad some times. I got mine fixed at the dealer for about $600 parts and labor for the solenoid and hinge, but it fixed the problem. I'm not sure what caused my problem in the first place so it may be something different.
