Reliability and extended warranty

Hi, all -- hoping for a quick response here. We are the very happy, satisfied owners of a 2001 Discovery II (210K miles, still has the same engine!) and when we bought it, we got the extended warranty.

Flashforward 13 years and we're looking to buy an LR4. (keeping the original though. still love that car).

Can someone weigh in as to what they think of the extended warranty? We bought it for the Disco 2 because of its reputation and found it to be well worth the money. Used it multiple times.

Question -- what's the sense out there for the LR4s reliability? Should we do the same? We already are paying a ridiculous amount for the vehicle and wondering whether we need to spend any more.

Not sure what year you're looking at but in my case I've used it multiple times and I'm glad I got it. CPO warranty from LR that is.
If you go used I highly recommend it.
