remote starter

I am thinking of having a remote starter installed. In the past I have read that it was a bad idea, that was a few years ago. I have a 2000 disco and want to keep the factory alarm. Does any one have or know anything about a remote starter on a 2000 LR DiscoII? Thanks Joe

I would not recommend it. Unfortunatly the LR alarm system can be a littly qwerky to say the least. If you add it and then have issues remember to remove it before attempting to troubleshoot or taking to the dealer for any work.
