Does anyone here have any ideas on how to remove dents. While out the other day some person hit my driver door and left, leaving a basketball size dent in it. There is no chipping of the paint just some scratches. Any ideas on how to pop it out. I heard something about taking the door panel off and pushing from the inside but i dont know. I was hoping for an easier way. Any ideas?

If the bowl plunger doesn't work for you, I had an industrial strength suction cup sitting around that I used about a year ago and it worked great. I don't know where you could buy one, but I bet if you give $10 to a car-windshield installer, he would let you use his.

if the toilet plunger doesnt do the trick (good idea by the way) - yes remove the inside door panel (be carefull european cars can be tricky - not as easy as a honda or toyota) and gently push it out with somthing rubber (like the end of a rubber mallet-tennis ball might work too) and dense - if possible use your feet on your back (with soft sole shoes) apply gentle presure do not swing/kick - -
also even though you dont see chips in the paint - they may happen when you pop it back out or create a bubble under the paint - so watch for that (rust)

if you have a friend who does body work get thier help

Go ask a dentless repair person if the thing is removable. Normally these things are not expensive and if they do it right the scratches are light you will not be able to tell it was there. THey can also tell you if the scratches can be buffed out. Just make sure there are no creases and you do not put any into the metal.
