I have read several threads leading me to believe there is no good answer, but....
I have been stalking the forum for severel months while searching for the ideal 2013 LR4. Finally purchased the truck the day before driving back to Missouri from CO. In spite of a lack of evidence my wife and I were convinced she would be able to cable her way to connecting the kids ipad into the RES using the RCA ports.
After stops at an Apple store and a Best Buy -- no dice.
Tried:
RCA cable converted to iPad.
Added aux cable to headphones port in iPad.
RCA plus USB portion of converter to both (Ipod and USB) plugins in front console.
Ultimatly just bought a DVD of How to Train a Dragon 2 which satisfied the children as well as mollify my annoyance at being defeated by the tech.
So a couple of questions for those more technology savy folks around here:
What's the purpose of the RCA inputs? Same for the Aux?
Anyone have any better success connecting the LR RES to modern day technology?
